2020 BMW X5 Redesign– A brand new generation of the AS BMW HYBRID X5 is merely around the corner, and once again there will be a high-performance model developed by the M division. A prototype for the top of the line model, the X5 Meters, has been spotted for the first time. This features the large content typical of an Meters car, as well as lowered suspension, huge rims, and a quad-tip wear out pipe arrangement.
The current X5 only found their way to 2014, with its own X5 Meters model arriving in 2015. The reason for the quick changeover is credited to BMW introducing a new modular platform across its range. (The current X5 is actually established on a platform that dates back to the year of 2007. )

The modular program is the SUV version of BMW’s CLAR design that debuted in the 2016 7-Series. System should ensure that the remodeled X5, along with the redesigned X5 M, is lighter, tauter and more fun to push.
Power will come from a reworked version of the existing X5 M’s 4. 4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8. This updated generator debuts soon in a redesigned M5 and really should have around six hundred horsepower and 516 pound-feet torque capacity on touch. It should be more fuel-efficient than the current mill, too.
The engine will be mated to an 8-speed programmed and rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. The latter, known as Meters xDrive, also debuts in the redesigned M5. A highlight of the device is that it allows you to switch into rear-wheel-drive setting, though it’s not clear if this type of feature will be as part of the redesigned X5 M.
BMW is expected to introduce its renovated X5 in 2018. The X5 M should appear a year later, most likely as a 2020 model. Arriving around the same time also needs to be an X6 M.
The images below show an X5 featuring shorter overhangs than the current F15 model and with a larger bonnet. The front end stands out using its significant 3D-sculpted grille inspired by the Vision Future High-class Concept and slimmer, more elegant laser headlights. The reduced end of the entrance fascia takes a play from the 7 Series playbook with chrome elements and LED lights stuck in the top air draperies.

The rear-end stays nearer to the design of the latest model, but appears more refined, softer and more premium. The roof’s subtle spoiler gives the X5 a more slopping roofline for a more sport look. Up coming generation G05 X5 is due out in 2020, however in the mean time, BMW will unveil an X5 facelift in 2017.
