2018 Lexus RX 350 7 Seater– Lexus UX and the seven seater Lexus RX reportedly will be unveiled in the Tokyo Motor Show in November as Toyota expands the range of the crossover vehicle to the luxury arm. According to Mag-X, the more spacious RX will now feature the same 2790mm axle as the five seat rx on sale. To accommodate a third line and two extra passengers, the RX L will have an elongated rear overhang.
Everything is said to be the RX L 5050mm long, 160mm from five seater car.
The Japanese release of the seven-seater RX believes that the five-seater model will retain the rear window graphics, which may mean that the rear seat passengers will have a limited view out.
Lexus put off a production version, the ash segment is very mainstream for a luxury player. Instead, Lexus presented his rugged GX and LX looking for a third line of body-on-Frame SUV buyers. Now, however, the Crossover sales allure is just too strong to ignore.
Lexus engineers claim that the mid-sized RX will be the first in a 3-row, 7-Seat version tested and a report vehicle from Japan in October 2017 at the Tokyo Auto Show. Changing the fourth generation RX to fit a third line, given the corporate cousin of the straight forward vehicle, the Toyota Highlander, has already three lines.
According to Mag-X, 3-line Rx, as an RX L rosettes, the current 2-line model will retain the wheelbase but an expanded rear feature. To provide adequate space for the third row, the roof will remain flat towards the rear instead of inclined down as a 2-line model.
In the United States, the car must be presented with both RX 350 and RX 450h trim, but perhaps not both launch. The potential rivals include the Audi Q7, Infiniti JX and Volvo XC90.
What’s amazing is why the Lexus took so long to launch a 3-Row crossover. RX brand is the most popular model and 3-row crossover has been the number one demand from dealers for several years. Cadillac 3 is another luxury brand that has been dragging their feet when it comes to crossovers.
The Tokyo Auto Show opens its doors to the media on October 25th. To follow our coverage on the event, head our private hub.
I figured out that the seven seat model RX450hL trim will be presented, paired with an electric motor 3.5 liter V6 with a hybrid transfer. In an earlier report, the Crossover RX350L form would be available without hybrid components.
UX will be the smallest Lexus crossover in history and will be slot under NX. Most likely a platform sharing with a Toyota C-HR, the production UX heavy 2016 concept car will have a design inspired by last year’s Paris Motor Show.
Wait out-there are interior, holographic screens and framless windows to plunge into the design garbage, but the proportions of the concept and the heavy wrinkled accents will likely remain.
The UX concept is 4400mm long and lasts on the wheelbase of 2640mm. For comparison, the NX has a overall length of 4630mm and a 2660mm wheelbase, and the Toyota C-HR sits at the tail of a 2640mm wheelbase and measures 4360m from the tip.
